Apexit Plus is a radiopaque, non-shrinking root canal sealer paste that is based on calcium hydroxide. It is used for the permanent Apexit Plus by Ivoclar Vivadent is a root canal sealer containing calcium hydroxide. It is non-shrinking and radiopaque making it suitable for the permanent obturation of root canals. It can be used in conjunction with all obturation techniques. During setting Apexit Plus does not shrink and exhibits excellent physical and biological properties. It is delivered in a two-component system. The base and activator of the root canal sealer are supplied in double push syringes with a static mixing device that allows easy and quick, dispensing and mixing of the sealant. It demonstrates excellent tissue compatibility due to the absence of formaldehyde and pharmaceutical substances like corticosteroids and antibiotics.
